I know a lot of photographers that have no idea where the f-stop comes from or how it is calculated…. I am going to use this in my next lesson for my college students.
Oh, one little … Oh, one little thing… I didn’t make it clear that this is a good working method to get in the ballpark with simple lenses. For various reasons it isn’t going to be useful in trying to measure the Jujinxto Telezoom off of your 16 Jigawatt Picanator DSLR.
