    the diminished 7 has a double flatted 7

    min7b5 is basically just a diminished chord plus the minor7th.
    in this case the diminished chord adds the maj7, so the min7b5 just changes to the min7, but typically the dim chord could just be played as a triad
    ie. g dim(g,a#,c#,f#)
    gmin7b5(g,a#,c#,f)
