That means to slide up to an unspecified point on the neck. Just hold the note for however long it takes, then throw your hand towards the body of the guitar without giving up pressure right away, let go when and where you feel like it, then go back and continue wherever it was you left off. not to sure listen to that part in the song i see what your sayin like the part in the solo it goes 14/// , check out the solo and see it at that part it is doubled or not , maybe it was just a typ-o?

They could be saying go up or down that many half steps. Usually their is a number unless it is just a quick rip.
