Have you ever heard of something called “self-talk?” Most people haven’t, but you know what it is, I’m sure.
Self-talk is simply anything that you say to yourself, either in your head or out loud.
Studies show that approximately 70% of everythnig we say to ourselves is negative or harmful, and that this constant torrent of negativity is causing a lot of our psychological problems, including anxiety disorders.
So from now on, take notice of what you say to yourself in your head, and try to be kinder to yourself. You’ll be amazed at how much anxiety you can stop by doing this one simple thing.
