Man, if there’s one thing I hate, it’s having to get up and give a wedding speech!
Where did this silly tradition start? Well, I don’t know, but I do know that I’ve been best man 9 times, and I’ve gotten better and better at it all the time!
What do I do to get ready for that ultimate wedding speech. I try to think of some funny, endearing anecdote about the happy couple. I then make sure that the story is age-appropriate, meaning young and old will enjoy it. Then, I just go for it, and hope the audience will like it.
