I was able to get a “bye” on the 2nd round so all I did was watch the games. Round 3 started with me playing against Mark who’s also a friend of mine. He pilots a jund Deck which is the most popular Deck in standard as of now.
Game 1 I was able to draw 2 Valakut, a Harrow and a Geoped. He started with a Putrid leach and attacked me while I set my Valakut in play. We exchange damage using creatures. With his life down to 12 I was able to have 2 Valakut and harrowed for to mountains for 12 damage. Game 2 he was able to lock my forest and I cant cast any green spells and it slowed down my pace. He beat me with his creatures. Game 3, I draw 5 mountains and decided not to mulligan and it cost me the game. He was casting creatures turn by turn while I sit there and watch. He was able to lock out my green source and it slowed me down once again. At the end he overrun me with his creatures.
