Lap table : Perfect for sittting or standing

I purchased this lap table a few months back when I first began having lower back problems. It was the least costly laptop table I could get as most others were close to or over $100. I intended to utilize it although lying flat on my back, but that didn’t work out at all, and I was incredibly disappointed. If that’s what you’re searching for then this isn’t the desk for you.

I’d written the desk off until recently when I required to get a way to alternate between standing and sitting although working. I’ve a desk job, and sitting for long periods of times is something I require to avoid. I decided to try working when alternating standing and sitting positions, so I pulled out this laptop desk, extended the legs fully, and sat it on top of my normal desk. And guess what? It works extremely well.

I am able to elevate the keyboard so that the screen isn’t so low. It’s still not the perfect height for my neck, but it will do. There is also room for my normal mouse, which stays flat when the keyboard is elevated. So quite a few from the desks I’ve seen on the net either don’t have room for a mouse, or the entire table is inclined including the mouse.

The biggest complaint I’ve may be the flimsiness. It’s created of plastic, and the incline mechanism supports only the right side from the computer. So when I’ve the keyboard inclined the laptop sags a bit to the left. This really is the part I am most nervous about breaking.

All in all this could be a incredibly great, affordable laptop desk depending on what you want to utilize it for. If I could get the same general design produced of much better quality materials that didn’t have the sagging incline I’d buy it in a heartbeat. But for now this little guy is saving my back, so I’ll take what I can get.
